- Originally she is from Karkala in the Udupi district.
- Daughter of Venkatesha Bhatta (Marathe) and Padmavati.
- After marriage she pursued a D.Ed. and worked as a teacher.
- Also, she obtained B.A. and M.A. degrees.
- She rendered 27 years of service in the field of education.
- Along with getting an M.A. in English and Kannada after the retirement, she practiced and mastered the science of Mudra.
- Her work Mudra Vigyan has sold 70000 copies.
- A demonstration program on Mudra Science was given by her, which was telecasted by the Zee Kannada TV channel.
- Prof. Navakanth Bhat (Gore)

- Son of G. Ramanatha Bhat Gore and Chandravati.
- He graduated from Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore, in 1989 with a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication and in 1992 with an M.Tech. in microelectronics from I.I.T. Bombay.
- He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1996.
- He is a very big name at the international level in nanotechnology research in the field of science.
